This Kentucky farm wedding is one for the books! Eli is a country boy who’s lived in the city for twenty years. Now, he works in the creative space and has fully embraced city life (still with a heart full of love for his roots). Meanwhile, Arianna is a city girl who has a fondness for storytelling, open air, and quiet life—making them the most complementary couple I’ve ever met.
The two met on Raya, a dating app for larger cities. Eli and Arianna hit it off immediately on a typical first date of tacos and old fashioneds. But their story unfolded unexpectedly from there. On the second date, she had to leave after forty-five minutes to pick up her daughter. Then, the third “date” happened in the ICU due to a diabetic event. After that, the rest was history. He said, “I love you,” at his house in Venice, CA. He thought it was too soon, but after what they’d been through in just three dates, he knew she was the one. And it turned out to be true.

For their wedding, since they both care deeply about their friends and family, Eli and Arianna opted for a bonfire welcome party the day before their wedding and a sunset ceremony and barn reception the day after. Each time I thought I captured THE most perfect shot from their day, another priceless moment would pop up. Every minute of the day was filled with love, warmth, and affection.
As lovable as the duo is, I wasn’t surprised to see such a large wedding party. Their crew is jovial, playful, and deeply devoted to one another. Although the newlyweds come from different backgrounds, their families and passions are surprisingly similar. They both love music and books, old barns, and high design and fashion.
Eli and Arianna beautifully pull off the juxtaposition, too! They’re the most photogenic couple ever in Vogue magazine kind of way. (You could expect this high-fashion yet rustically vintage wedding from a celebrity couple, right?) Given the location, organically built-in props, and well-dressed crew, their wedding photos came out with a distinct editorial, high-fashion vibe that I’m in love with.
