Amber is a lifelong friend of mine and fellow photographer. We were talking one day about doing her family photos. She and I both wanted to create something fun and unique. It was important to both of us to do a more lifestyle shoot. Something they enjoy doing and can look back years from now and remember the fleeting moments. She discussed our mutual love for Ikea and BOOM, LIGHT BULB! We decided then and there that this was the place to do the shoot! I had been dying to shoot there since they opened the store in St. Louis. Mostly for my love of budget friendly, cute home decor options… and partly my love for 500 Days of Summer. Anyways, we did this fun and unique shoot last week. Aren’t they adorable!?
